### How is AI visibility different from SEO?

SEO earns a ranked position for a page. AI visibility, also called Generative Engine Optimization or GEO, earns a mention when a generative engine assembles an answer. One scores documents, the other scores what an engine understands about your company as an entity. A brand can perform well on one and poorly on the other.

### Does my existing SEO work still matter?
