Transform Your Church's Digital Impact:

Free Ministry Assessment

Discover How Your Church Can Reach More People Through Strategic Digital Marketing Ministry

Free Digital Ministry Assessment

Ask ChatGPT to find a church near you.
See if yours comes up.

In one year, the share of people using AI to find local places went from 6 percent to 45 percent. Your neighbors are asking a chatbot where to worship this Sunday. Most churches are not in the answer, and no one tells them.

Get My Free Assessment

No cost. No pitch. You keep the findings whether we ever work together or not.

Built by worship leaders who also spent 50 plus years in brand marketing.

The ten second test

Try this right now.

Open ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity. Type this:

“What are the best churches in [your city] for a family visiting for the first time?”

Read the answer.

If your church is not in it, that is the gap. It is not because your church is not worth recommending. It is because nothing on your site tells the machine who you are, what you believe, or who you are for.

Worth knowing: across nearly 350,000 business locations, ChatGPT recommended just 1.2 percent of them. Gemini recommended 11 percent. Perplexity, 7.4 percent. The same locations showed up in Google’s local map results 35.9 percent of the time.

SOCi 2026 Local Visibility Index, 349,000 plus locations across 2,751 brands.

Ranking on Google no longer means being found. That is the shift almost nobody in church communications is talking about yet.

Three places churches lose people

The gap is not your preaching. It is the path.

People are still searching. They are searching at 11pm, on a phone, after a hard week, with nobody watching. Here is where the path breaks between that search and your third row.

01

They can't find you

Last year, 6 percent of people used an AI tool to find a local place. This year it is 45 percent. That makes AI the third most used discovery channel in America, ahead of Yelp, behind only Google and Facebook. Seven times growth in twelve months.

BrightLocal Local Consumer Review Survey 2026, published February 11, 2026. Representative panel of 1,002 US adults.

Almost none of that traffic reaches churches. The engines are not withholding your name out of bias. They are withholding it because nothing they can read tells them you exist.

02

They find you and can't tell if they are welcome

The questions a nervous first time guest needs answered are painfully simple. Where do I park? What do I wear? What happens to my kid? Will someone talk to me?

If those answers take more than one click, you have asked a stranger to be brave twice. Most only have it in them once.

When Stanford researchers asked 2,684 people to judge whether a website was credible, the way it looked was the single most cited factor, named in 46 percent of their comments. Not the mission. Not the doctrine. The front door.

Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab, 2002. That study is old. Nothing published since has contradicted it.

03

They visit, raise their hand, and never hear back

This is the one that should keep you up.

Faith Perceptions surveyed 1,321 people who visited a church for the first time. 504 of them handed over their contact information. Thirty days later, only 119 had received any follow up at all.

Faith Perceptions, first time guest study, October 2015 to September 2016. Churches of all sizes and denominations.

Guests who gave their information and heard nothing

385 of 504

Only 24 percent were ever contacted

That is not a heart problem. Your team has plenty of heart. That is a systems problem, and systems are fixable.

What the assessment actually is

We check three things.

This is not a report generator. A person on our team sits down with your church’s actual web presence and works through it by hand. Here is the scope.

Part one  |  Can they find you?

Your GEO Score

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization: being visible inside AI answers, not just Google links. We run your church through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews with the questions real seekers actually ask. Then we check the six things that determine whether an engine will cite you.

Entity clarity. Does the internet clearly know who and where you are?

Content authority. Is there anything on your site worth quoting?

Structured data. Can an engine read your service times, beliefs, and location?

Citation worthiness. Do you answer questions definitively, or vaguely?

Live visibility test. Are you being named right now? Yes or no.

Technical foundation. Can engines reach, crawl, and trust your site?

You get a score. Not a feeling. A number.

Part two  |  Can they take a next step?

Your Guest Journey Review

We walk your site the way a first time guest would, on a phone, at night. We time how long it takes to find service times, directions, kids information, and what to expect. We test your Plan a Visit path all the way through and tell you exactly where a stranger would quit.

Part three  |  Do they hear back?

Your Follow Up Audit

We map what happens after someone fills out your form. Who gets notified. How fast. What they are sent. Whether anything happens on day three, day seven, day thirty, or whether the trail simply goes cold.

Most churches have never seen this written down. It is usually the most uncomfortable page in the whole report.

What you walk away with

Yours to keep. Even if we never speak again.

Your GEO Score. Where you stand across the five major AI engines, with the actual answers they gave when we asked about churches in your city.

The citation gap. Which churches near you are getting named, and the specific reasons why.

A guest journey walkthrough. Every point of friction between a search and a Sunday, ranked by how much it is costing you.

Your follow up map. What happens today, and what should happen instead.

A prioritized fix list. Split into what your team can do this month for free, and what needs outside help.

A 30 minute walkthrough call. We go through it live with you, screen shared, questions welcome.

We built this to be useful on its own. If your team takes the list and runs with it without us, that is a genuine win and we will say so on the call.

Who builds it

We are not marketers who found churches. We are church people who know marketing.

Conspicuouz Creative Group (CCG) was founded and led by Izzy and Allyson Gregorio: husband and wife, co-founders, and worship leaders at our home church, where Izzy also serves as music director.

Between us there are more than fifty years in brand marketing, creative direction, and design. We have built for large brands with large budgets. We know exactly what that machinery costs and exactly how little of it a church actually needs.

We also know what it feels like to be on a volunteer team holding together something that was supposed to have three more people on it.

You preach the Gospel. We help people find it.

We don't do growth promises. We can't make anyone walk through your doors. That is the Lord’s work and your church’s welcome. What we can do is make sure that when someone goes looking, they find you, they understand you, and they hear back.

The page you forward to your board

Language for the elder meeting.

Most pastors do not decide this alone. So here is the case, already made, in board safe terms. Forward it.

On stewardship

People in our community are searching for a church home this week. Making sure they can find ours is stewardship of the front door, the same care we would give the sanctuary or the nursery.

On communication

We are not adding programs. We are removing friction from how someone discovers us, visits us, and stays connected after.

On sustainability

Right now our digital ministry depends on one or two faithful people. If they step back, it stops. We are building repeatable workflows so growth does not rest on one volunteer’s shoulders.

Questions you are probably asking

Before you fill out the form.

Is this really free?

Yes. No card, no trial, no strings. The Digital Ministry Assessment from Conspicuouz Creative Group costs you nothing. We invest the hours because a small share of the churches we assess end up wanting help executing the fixes. The rest get a genuinely useful document and our blessing.

Are you going to sell me something on the call?

We will walk you through the findings, answer questions, and tell you honestly which items your team can handle in house. If there is a fit for us to help, we will say so once, clearly, and you can say no just as clearly. We will not chase you afterward.

We already have someone who does our website.

Good. Bring them to the call. This assessment is not a critique of your web person. Generative search is roughly two years old as a discipline, and almost nobody in church technology is optimizing for it yet. Give your team the map.

We are a smaller church. Is this for us?

It is built for churches running roughly 200 to 750, usually with one person carrying communications and a lot of volunteer help. If that is you, this was written for you specifically.

Is chasing AI search the right thing for a church to be doing?

Paul reasoned in the marketplace because that is where people were. Right now the marketplace has a search bar in it. Being findable is not a gimmick. It is hospitality extended to people who have not worked up the nerve to visit yet.

What denominations do you work with?

All of them. We serve your voice and your theology, not ours. We ask questions before we write a word.

How long does it take?

We build these by hand, so plan on five business days from submission to your walkthrough call.
